Spanglish Cocina + Bar

Excellent new Cuban spot in West Ashley. I lived in Cuba for a semester in college and have made a few trips back since then, and nothing I've had locally tastes quite as authentic as Spanglish (gypsy pantry on Calhoun is a close second). If you're in the area, definitely stop by. Looking forward to them getting their liquor license so I can try out the cocktails!

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is so good. You taste the love, pride, and care that put into each dish. This is food that truly touches your soul.

Obsessed with this place! Had a rum mango cocktail that was delightful. Apps were bright and flavorful and not overly filling. My favorite was the shrimp. The juice from that dish went very well on the rice, haha. Entree was fantastic (had the chicken). Obviously, flan and a cafecito finished off the perfect meal. The decor is fun, clean, and beautiful. Staff is great!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The whole staff is wonderful and attentive. The food is fantastic!! One of my favorite places to visit in Charleston.

My partner and I used to visit Spanglish all the time when they were in the Workshop, and we've been eagerly awaiting the grand opening of their own place, it was worth the wait! We've been 3 times now and Tommy and Lynda have knocked it out of the park with Spanglish! The food is hearty and absolutely delicious, the decor is beautiful and the service is A+, harder and harder to find such good service in Charleston these days. Overall wonderful hip vibe and spot-on delicious Cuban food. Go visit, you won't be disappointed! Be sure to save room for Cuban coffees and dessert ❤️

My eyes (taste buds?) have been opened! From the incredible flavor of the lechon pork, to the plantains, the cuban sandwich...I could go on. The service was was friendly and fun. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!
